Hey again, internet! Not much happening here, and thought I'd just give you folks a quick update. Yesterday I got to go back to school...and surprisingly, it was a very uneventful day! o_o; 80-94 was packed trying to get there, which was disheartening, because I actually left a bit early so I could get a paper printed in the lab! Then when I finally got to class, about a half-hour late...it was empty. Only one random person in there who was sitting in there just to study. "Oh, yeah, class let out already. Don't know why." Dangi~t...! And I was supposed to turn in my midterm! Thankfully I was able to just drop it in the professor's mailbox, but still, it's the principle of the matter!
Spanish class was...interesting. While I was expecting a movie, we instead got taught on the use of "le." But y'know, I've no idea what he was talking about, didn't make too much of an effort to explain it, so for anyone reading this who is good with Spanish, could you please explain in the comments? Thank you in advance...! But anyways, I was looking forward to World History, because there was a guy that sat near me there who was also in my Literature class! I could ask him about earlier! Score! ...but what I wasn't expecting was for the professor to be away from campus on that day. And from where I sat in Spanish, I could see the darkened room of where History would be...but then, the guy I was hoping to talk to was standing there! It was two minutes till class let out...and he seemed to be sticking around there! Yes!! Noise filled the Spanish classroom of people putting there things away, when the professor spoke up. "You still have a couple minutes, hold on." Nnnghh...!! C'mon, c'mon...! Homework was assigned, miscellaneous details were discussed...that guy was still standing there...talking, talking, let out. ...except someone borrowed my book. I retrieved my book, eagerly walked out the door...and that guy had gone somewhere else. Craaaaap...! T_T I don't know really why he had been even standing there in the first place, to tell you the truth. It was like fate taunting me! What's the deal, fate?!
So I went about campus, dropping in on a few folks and saying "hi." My buddy Sam wasn't at his work station, so I let him know I was there...by turning his mouse over, turning his fan upside-down, leaning stationery up on his monitor, stuff like that :3 Normalcy leads to boredom! Stuff needs to be randomly moved around sometimes! :D And...well, not really much else happened.
For any and all curious, Mom's been doing okay since she's been back. Her same self, really! She's doing all right right now, and hopefully next month her and Dad can go on their vacation. In the meanwhile, I need to get started on my AMV. Just...not right now. Dad and I are actually going out to look at new phones! Dad got an offer to upgrade his phone! Maybe mp3's and pictures will be had...dunno. Personally I'm satisfied with the fact my phone can take pictures o_o; That's just me.
Anyways, I wanted to share some links with you folks! Links of win!
Howard & Nester archive!! ...oh my gosh! I used to be such the little Nintendo Power subscriber! Reading these, it brought back so many memories! In fact, I recalled the Megaman 2 comic being the one from the first issue I ever got! And the artwork...just, wow. The linework, the shading, all that stuff! This was all before Photoshop! Just...man...!
Rifftrax Who doesn't love Mystery Science Theater 3000? Its cancellation was one of the saddest things to ever happen in the history of television! Mystery Science Theater 3000 is dead...but like a phoenix rising out of the ashes, Mike Nelson has again arrived on the movie-bashing scene, and sometimes is even accompanied by the old comrades of Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. Yes, the entire cast of MST3k is back, more or less. I think this is about where the internet explodes.
Countdown to the Chaser's War on Everything Know what the heck that is? You would, if you lived in Australia! The Chaser is apparently some comedic news-like show...I suppose sort of like The Daily Show. Except it's in Australia. And doesn't have John Stewart. And has a live countdown till when it'll be back on the air. While this might not sound too exciting, it can have its moments, because people from about the world are able to call in, including you! So what happens when bored people sitting on couches get random phone calls? Potential gold. For US people, replace the 0 at the beginning of the number with 01161. Whoo!
